How can I make an appointment?

Appointments can be made by phone or online through the booking portal.  Making an appointment online will most likely be quicker as we may be helping other clients, this also allows you to book at any time.

​What is the cancellation policy?

Life happens and sometimes you need to call to reschedule or cancel.  A 24hr call in advance of the appointment allows time to accommodate a reschedule as the time is specifically reserved for you. If you are not able to call 24hrs in advance of your appointment to cancel or reschedule 40% of the service will be charged. Missed appointments, no shows without notification will receive a 60% charge of the service.

What is the return policy on product purchases?

All retail items sold are non-refundable.

How do upgrades work if I have a ClassPass membership?

Because Classpass allows limited options for treatments offered you may want to opt for a different facial.  Schedule the facial available on ClassPass, if time is allowed some upgrade options are available.  Because the upgrade is done through Peach Skin Studio you will not use additional credits and would pay directly

How can I know if there are promotions or events?

Couple of ways to stay in the know is to subscribe to the email list and follow Peach Skin Studio on Instagram.

Waxing

Can anyone be waxed?

You cannot be waxed if:

*Tanned or been over exposed to the sun 24 hrs prior.  Or will be going tanning or sunbathing 24hrs after

*Are taking blood thinners

*Undergoing radiation, chemotherapy or other biological therapy

*Have been on prescription Accutane or Isotrentinoin for past year. Yes an entire year

*Have recently received a chemical peel or other powerful exfoliant in the waxing area 72 hrs prior or more depending on depth of penetration

*Have had laser resurfacing treatment in past year

*Have used Retin-A in or Differin past 7 days

*Have a rash or cold sore in area

*Please consult your physician regarding any medications you may be taking to ask about the effects of waxing

Is there an age limit for the services?

Yes.  You'll need to be 16 years old or receive parental consent.

FACIALS & SKINCARE

NanoInfusion:

What is NanoInfusion?

A pen like device with microscopic needles oscillates up and down to regenerate cell turnover, infuse product and transform the skin.  This procedure is also known as Microneedling. The main difference is Microneedling is for a medical treatments and Nanoneedling or Nanoinfusion is for cosmetic facial treatments.  Nanoneedling addresses fine lines, superficial scaring to correct texture where as Microneedling is for deep wrinkles, stretch marks and deeper acne scaring known as ice pick scaring from severe acne.

Benefits to NanoInfusion: 

Any skin tone can take advantage of this treatment, so it is safer than laser treatments.  It can also be done every 2 weeks depending on depth.

Increased hydration - product penetration - collagen stimulation production - softens lines and wrinkles - evens skin tone - improves skin texture - anti-aging

Contraindication to NanoInfusion:

raised scaring - pregnancy - herpes simplex - patients on blood thinners - facial injections past 2 weeks - immune-suppression disease

Ultrasonic LED 

Ultrasonic LED Benefits and how it works:

Due to high level sound wave it can bypass the skins surface penetrating deep bellow to increase cell turnover, plumping the skin delivering energy to regenerate collagen.  The LED has different light wavelengths to work in conjunction to address various skin needs, the treatment offers three different light options.  Red light penetrates human tissue more superficially. Approx. 80% of the energy is absorbed in the first 2cm for rejuvenation, fine lines and anti-aging.  Green light offers a calming and balance effect in the skin while reducing redness. In addition this wavelength has been known to have anti-inflammatory properties that can work to reduce hyper-pigmentation. Blue LED light kills bacteria great for those with acne, the light energy also stimulates to tighten pores and reduce oiliness of the skin. Altogether it has a rejuvenation effect on the skin.

Contraindications to Ultrasound LED:

Even though the treatment is non-invasive and safe for all skin types. It is NOT recommended for people with pacemakers, heart disease, cancer or other serious medical conditions. Anyone living with a chronic health condition should check with his or her physician before proceeding with any kind of facial treatment.

Chemical Peel 

What are the contraindications to Chemical Peels?

Pregnancy, nursing or have had any laser resurfacing past year.  Taking medications such as Accutane, Retin-A, Issotrentinoin, blood thinking medication or on antibiotics.  If you have diabetes, lupus, cancer, active cold sores, herpes simplex other serious medical condition such as heart condition or immunity disorder.

Dermaplaning

What are the contraindications to Dermaplaning?

Current inflamed acne lesions, skin cancer or active cold sores.  Uncontrolled diabetes or dermatitis.  Use of Accutane for past six months or retinol use past 7 days. ​

What if I don't know what type of facial I want when booking?

At Peach Skin Studio our facials are created to treat, repair and reinvigorate the skin.  The best way to understand your skin needs is to be in the treatment room for a proper skin assessment after a thorough cleansing.  With that being said, a suggested start is with the dermaplaning facial if you have not received corrective facials and are not sure where to start as it is ideal for all skin types.  While performing the treatment we can discuss your skin goals and can create a customized plan.

What if I'm wearing makeup up before my facial?

No worries, your makeup will be removed during the cleansing process of the facial.

Can I book a facial if I'm pregnant or nursing?

While pregnant or nusring either the Dermaplanning or Seasonal Signature facials can be scheduled.

What product lines do you carry?

At Peach Skin Studio the skincare lines are always professional grade with ingredients that are effective.  Three lines are used for the skincare treatments PCA Skin, Skin Script RX and Bio Therapeutic.  These lines are paraben, phthalates and animal cruelty free among other ingredients that won't ever be in the products used or sold.
